I have been a licensed attorney for over ten years and have practiced in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas for nearly over 6 years. I opened my own law office in La Feria, Texas in June of 2007. I have a broad practice focusing on real estate, business, probate and municipal law as well as general civil litigation.

Prior opening my own practice, I was an associate with Montalvo & Ramirez in McAllen for over four years. During that time I focused on municipal law, representing various cities, economic development corporations, water supply corporations and other governmental entities; business and construction litigation; real estate law; probate law; and assisted with public finance transaction.

I have also worked as an associate attorney at Denton Navarro & Bernal in Harlingen, Texas, specializing in defending governmental entities, primarily in employment and tort litigation and as an associate attorney at Strasburger & Price in Austin, Texas in their commercial litigation section.

Organizations/Service

In addition to the legal representation discussed above, I currently serve as President of the La Feria Industrial Development Corporation. I also served as a member of the City Charter Committee for the City of La Feria which recently reviewed the existing charter and drafted proposed updates and amendments to the charter, all of which were approved by the voters in the most recent election.
